Joy Baker possesses extensive experience in education and support for individuals with learning difficulties. Currently serving as a Licensed Davis Program Facilitator at the Davis Dyslexia Association International since September 2008, Joy provides tailored assistance for various learning challenges, including dyslexia, dyscalculia, and ADHD. Previous experience includes a role as a Primary School Teacher at Durand and St Alfege from September 2001 to April 2006, where Joy taught a broad range of subjects to Key Stage 1 and 2 students. Additionally, Joy worked as a Legal Assistant for the London Borough of Lambeth from September 1992 to January 1997, focusing on housing-related legal matters. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Certificate in Adult Dyslexia Diagnosis and Support from London South Bank University and an LLB(Hons) in Law from the same institution.

DDAI is based in the United States and oversees training and licensing of Davis® providers worldwide. The goals of DDAI are to increase worldwide awareness of the perceptual gifts, talents or potentials for genius that accompany and give rise to dyslexia; and effective methods for resolving the learning disability aspects of dyslexia. DDAI has affiliate organizations headquartered in Mexico, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, and the UK. There are licensed Davis Facilitators in more than 40 nations, providing services in more than 30 languages.
