Wendy Weitzel

Wendy Weitzel is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in journalism, marketing, and public relations. Currently serving as the Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the Davis Farmers Market, Wendy has also operated as a communications consultant since 2013, helping various local organizations, including the city of Davis and the Davis Pride Festival. Wendy's background includes a long tenure as a columnist for The Davis Enterprise and previous roles such as Managing Editor, where oversight of reporting and editing staff took place. A graduate of California State University-Sacramento with a BA in journalism, Wendy has also held positions at UC Davis, Technology Sciences Group Inc., The Record, Appeal-Democrat, and The Press-Tribune, garnering several awards and recognition throughout a successful career in media and communications.
