Meg Tahyar has an extensive work experience history. Meg began their career as a clerk for Judge Robert Bork at the US District Court of Appeals in DC from July 1987 to February 1988. Meg then worked as a clerk for Justice Thurgood Marshall at the US Supreme Court from July 1988 to July 1989. In 1989, Meg joined Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP as a Partner in the Financial Institutions Group. Meg worked in this role until September 2020 when they became the Co-Head of the Financial Institutions Group and Partner at Davis Polk & Wardwell.

Meg Tahyar attended the University of Michigan from 1977 to 1982 where they pursued a degree in Asian Studies. Following this, they enrolled in Columbia Law School from 1984 to 1987, earning their JD in Law.
