Oliver McKinstry

Oliver McKinstry is an experienced legal and human resources professional with a comprehensive background in labor, employment, and investigations. Currently serving as Vice President and Associate General Counsel at DaVita Kidney Care since December 2016, McKinstry leads HR Shared Services for 60,000 employees, overseeing diverse functions such as employee relations, HR investigations, and organizational changes. Prior roles include Senior Director of Teammate Relations, where McKinstry managed workplace investigations and implemented an artificial intelligence reporting platform, and Director of People Services and Investigations, driving HR strategies for a $100M pharmaceutical business. Earlier career experience includes roles at Lockheed Martin as EEO Investigator and Ethics Officer, and legal positions at Littler Mendelson and Dorsey & Whitney LLP. McKinstry holds a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a BA in Communications Studies, French, and Women's and Gender Studies from Macalester College.
