Alexis Gilbert

Alexis Gilbert has extensive experience in both sports coaching and corporate communications. Currently serving as the 8th Grade Girls Basketball Coach and Youth Girls Basketball Coach at Hanover Horton Schools since January 2021, Alexis has actively contributed to the growth of basketball in the community by managing various age group programs. Concurrently, from January 2017 to the present, Alexis holds multiple senior-level roles at Dawn Foods Global, including Vice President of Global Brand and Communications, where responsibilities encompass strategic communications, executive visibility, and corporate branding. Previous experiences include serving as Senior Director at Just Marketing, Inc., where oversight of communications for major clients was emphasized, as well as roles in social media and public relations at PCGCampbell and Michigan International Speedway. Alexis obtained a Bachelor's degree in Integrative Public Relations from Central Michigan University, complemented by minors in Journalism and Marketing, demonstrating a strong foundation in communications and marketing principles.
