Wesley Snijders has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Wesley began their career in 2013 at the Ministry of Economic Affairs - Netherlands Enterprise Agency, where they worked as a Business Development Advisory until March 2014. Following this, they joined IBM as an Intern from June 2015 to September 2015. In September 2015, they also started working as a Business Analyst at Falcon.io until July 2016.
In 2016, Snijders joined Novo Nordisk and participated in their International Graduate Program, working in various roles from September 2016 to August 2018. Wesley then transitioned to the role of Medical Device Strategy, which they held from June 2018 to June 2019, and finally served as the Global Digital Health Strategy Lead from May 2019 to March 2021.
In 2021, Snijders joined Liva Healthcare - digital health coaching & disease management as Head of Strategy from July 2021 to February 2022, and also briefly worked in Business Development from April 2021 to June 2021.
Currently, Snijders is employed at Dawn Health, where they hold the position of Director Corporate Strategy since January 2023. Wesley also previously worked at Dawn Health's Venture Building (WEMA Health) from March 2022 to December 2022.
Wesley Snijders completed a Master's Degree in Economics and Business Administration with a focus on Strategic Market Creation at Copenhagen Business School from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued their undergraduate studies in Economics and Business, specializing in Business Studies, at the University of Amsterdam from 2010 to 2014. In 2012, they participated in an exchange program at the National University of Singapore, where they studied South and Southeast Asian Economies for one semester. Wesley's secondary education was completed at Het Calandlyceum from 2004 to 2010, where they obtained their Atheneum diploma with a focus on Science and Technology.
In addition to their academic achievements, Wesley obtained a certification as a Youth Football Coach from the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) in May 2011. Wesley also achieved an IELTS score of 8.0, certified by The British Council in May 2013.
