Kathryn Jezer-Morton

Kathryn Jezer-Morton is an experienced instructor in the Department of Humanities at Dawson College since January 2017 and a writer for Recruitment and Enrolment Services at Concordia University since January 2020. As a freelance journalist since 2005, Kathryn has contributed work to notable publications including The New York Times Magazine, The Globe and Mail, The Outline, and Salon, and wrote a parenting column titled HEY MA for Jezebel.com from 2016 to 2017. Previous roles include Head of Communications at Milieux Institute for Arts, Culture and Technology and Communications Officer at McGill University, where Kathryn managed social media, developed content, and produced events. Kathryn's education includes a Ph.D. in Sociology and a Master’s Degree in Digital Anthropology from Concordia University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Modern European History from Oberlin College.
