Myles Burgess

Myles Burgess is an experienced computer science educator with a tenure at Dawson College since September 1991, where Myles serves as a teacher in the Computer Science Department. Previously, Myles taught at Concordia University in the School of Extended Learning from May 2013 to September 2021 and also held an instructor position at Riverside High School in 1999. Myles has entrepreneurial experience as the owner of Plasma Applications from 1994 to 1998, operating retail computer stores and providing business solutions, and as the owner/consultant of Informatique Burgess from 1989 to 1994, offering a range of technical services and management consultation. Earlier career roles include serving as Manager of Information Systems at Domain Distributors, overseeing network solutions and financial applications. Myles holds a DEC in Computer Science from Dawson College, completed between 1980 and 1983, following foundational education at local schools.
