Bill Karatzas has a diverse work history spanning over 30 years. Bill began their career in 1989 as a CBRN Officer in the US Army, where they served for over 22 years. After leaving the military in 2011, they worked for various companies in roles related to CBRN/WMD analysis and consulting. Bill held positions at MacAulay Brown, CBI Polymers, and Amarok LLC. In 2014, they transitioned into the field of emergency management, first as a Senior Exercise Controller/HSEEP Planner at Summit Technologies Inc., then as a Senior Exercise Controller at Dalpar Corporation. From 2015 to 2019, they served as a Project Manager for Summit Technologies Inc. In 2019, they took on the role of Proposal Manager at Summit Technologies, Inc. before moving on to become the Emergency Management Director for Texas County, Missouri in 2020. Currently, they are employed as the Deputy Program Manager at DAWSON, where they have been since 2021. Bill's work experience showcases their expertise in emergency management, CBRN/WMD analysis, project management, and proposal development.
Bill Karatzas earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from St. John's University, where they studied from 1985 to 1989. Bill later pursued a Master's Degree in Environmental Management from Webster University in 2001.
