William J. P. Slora (Wil)

Wil J. P. Slora has a diverse range of work experience in various roles related to military installation management and engineering.

William (Wil) J. P. began their career in the Army Reserve in 2000 as a Facilities and Operations Supervisor. William (Wil) J. P. then worked as an Executive Officer for the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management, Base Realignment and Closure, and later for the 980th Engineer Combat Battalion (Heavy).

In 2007, Wil served as the Deputy Chief Engineer and Lead Design Engineer for the Multi-National Force - Iraq, Task Force 134, where they managed engineering efforts for a population of over 33,000.

From 2008 to 2010, they served as the Sustainment, Services, Energy, and Environmental Deputy Branch Chief at the Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management, Operation Directorate Reserve. During this time, they developed and implemented strategic enterprise plans and policies related to facility sustainment and base operations support.

Wil then worked as an Engineer/Military Assistant for the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Installations, Energy, and Environment from 2010 to 2012. William (Wil) J. P. was responsible for issues related to military construction, real estate, and installation operations and maintenance.

From 2012 to 2014, they held the role of Director of Public Works/Regional Engineer for the 99th Regional Support Command, where they managed Army Reserve sites in the northeastern U.S.

Most recently, Wil has been working as a Senior Program Manager at DAWSON since 2016.

Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership skills, expertise in engineering and facility management, and the ability to coordinate and communicate with various stakeholders and organizations.

William (Wil) J. P. Slora holds a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree from the University of Idaho, where they studied from 1984 to 1991. William (Wil) J. P. later pursued a Masters of Science (M.S.) degree in General Business Administration from Central Michigan University, completing their studies in 2009. In 2004 and 2005, Slora attended the Command and General Staff College in Fort Leavenworth, KS, although the field of study during this period is not specified.
