Rob Adamson has a diverse work experience. Rob began their career as a Test Engineer at JDS Uniphase in 2001. From 2003 to 2008, they worked as a PhD student at the University of Toronto. In 2010, they joined Dalhousie University as an Assistant Professor, where they run a research program focused on new technologies for diagnostics and therapeutics in the field of hearing and balance. Rob'sprojects include the development of imaging tools for the ear and novel technologies for implanted hearing aids. In 2011, they also became the Chief Executive Officer at Daxsonics Ultrasound, a company specializing in consulting and prototyping for high-frequency ultrasound imaging systems. In this role, they manage the company's larger projects and interacts with clients.
Rob Adamson attended Queen's University from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Engineering Physics with a specialization in the electrical stream.
