Robert Dyess

Robert Dyess serves as the Senior Vice President of Business Development for Munitions & Government at Day & Zimmermann, where responsibilities include driving growth and fostering strategic partnerships to meet defense and security needs. Dyess holds the position of Chairman of the Board at the Marshall Legacy Institute, focusing on the humanitarian impact of landmines, and contributes as a Sub-Committee Member and Consultant for the Army Science Board, providing independent advice on critical national security challenges. Additionally, Dyess is a member of the Board of Directors for the Virginia War Memorial Foundation, honoring veterans' contributions, and previously served as Board Member for the USO and Vice President of Government Relations at Northrop Grumman. Dyess has held leadership roles within the U.S. Army, including Director of the Army Capabilities Integration Center, and possesses advanced degrees from Virginia Tech and the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, along with a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
