Bisuk Abraham Sisungkunon currently serves as the Head of Sustainable Development Research Cluster at Daya Makara UI since November 2020. As a Natural Resource Economist and Short-term Adviser at Prospera, responsibilities include work on green economy initiatives starting September 2022. Previous experience includes consulting roles with WWF Indonesia and UNDP, focusing on environmental valuation and green economy strategies for the G20 Development Working Group. Bisuk has also contributed to projects at the Ministry of National Development Planning and Vital Strategies, emphasizing sustainable finance and air pollution economic assessments. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics from the University of Copenhagen and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Indonesia.

Daya Makara UI (DMUI) is a Special Enterprise Unit that is fully owned and operated by the University of Indonesia. DMUI was established on January 9th, 2004. For the last decades, DMUI has been an independent research and consulting institution with a proven track record in producing high-quality outputs for governmental institutions, private sectors, development agencies, and other non-governmental organizations. VISION: Becoming a scientific infrastructure in the University of Indonesia that performs multidisciplinary approaches, promotes innovations, and consistently provides applicable solutions for its counterparts OUR SERVICES: Research, Consulting, Capacity Building, Assessment Program, Policy Design, and Community Empowerment In 2023, DMUI established the Sustainable Development Research Cluster to enhance its involvement in realizing nature-resilient development programs across Indonesia through science-based and policy-oriented research activities.
