Lynn Saphire has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Lynn started their career at GE in 1988 and worked their way up to the position of Director Corporate Clinical Operations. There, they were responsible for strategic planning, leadership development, and process improvement. In 2006, they started their own consulting firm called Saphire Consulting, where they provided services to managed Medicare and Medicaid companies. Lynn reduced hospital admissions and improved quality results for their clients. From 2008 to 2016, Lynn worked at UnitedHealth Group, serving as the Director of Clinical Operations and later as VP Health Products & Services. Lynn led teams in developing integrated case management services and testing interventions to address disparities in care. Since 2018, Lynn has been working at DayaMed as the Chief Strategy Officer, Population Health.
Lynn Saphire's education history includes a Master of Public Health degree in Healthcare Management from Yale University School of Medicine, which was obtained between 1981 and 1983. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Family Nurse Practitioner at Yale University School of Nursing from 1983 to 1986. Prior to this, Lynn earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania between 1976 and 1978.
