Aleksandar Penev

Aleksandar Penev has been in the tech industry since 2016. Aleksandar began their career at Hawk-Eye Innovations Ltd as Design Lead. In 2018, they co-founded Veloxoft LTD, a software consultancy company that later developed its own products. Aleksandar built a web platform, iOS, and Android apps in a team of three people and managed to secure European Funding. In 2020, they joined Daye as Head of Operations. Aleksandar helped scale the manufacturing capacity of Daye from 1,000 subscribers to 65,000 by opening two new facilities across two different countries and helped secure an ISO13485 certificate for the company.

Aleksandar Penev completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Integrated Design Engineering from the University of Bath in 2018. Prior to this, they attended American College of Sofia from 2009-2014, where they studied Mathematics and Natural Sciences. Aleksandar has also obtained certifications from Lynda.com and Google, including Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional, SOLIDWORKS 2016 Essential Training, and The Online Marketing Fundamentals.
