Jennie Rosenn

Jennie Rosenn has a diverse work experience that spans over several roles and organizations. Jennie is the Founder and CEO of Dayenu: A Jewish Call to Climate Action, a position they have held since November 2019. Prior to this, Jennie worked as a Strategy Consultant for social change and Jewish organizations, providing support to maximize impact. Jennie also served as the Vice President of Community Engagement at HIAS, where they created a strategy and team to build a Jewish movement for refugees. Before that, they were a Program Director at the Nathan Cummings Foundation, leading strategic change in areas such as Jewish social justice, environmentalism, and peace in the Middle East. Jennie also has experience as a Rabbi and Director of Tzedek Hillel at Columbia University and Barnard College, where they focused on community engagement, fundraising, and marketing. Jennie'swork experience showcases their expertise in strategic planning, organizational change, and community building.

Jennie Rosenn holds a Master of Arts & Ordination degree from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion-New York, which they obtained from 1991 to 1997. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree at Columbia University from 1987 to 1991. In addition to their formal education, they have also attained certifications in various leadership and facilitation programs, including the Art of Leadership I and II from the Rockwood Leadership Program, Auburn Media Training from Auburn Theological Seminary, and Facilitative Leadership from The Interactive Institute for Social Change.
