Udit Patel is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with extensive experience in renewable energy and market operations. As Co-Founder and CTO at Daylight Energy since June 2022, Patel has played a key role in the development of solar projects through Solar Catalyst, where advisory responsibilities since June 2019 include managing renewable initiatives for various customer types. Previous positions include VP of Market Operations with a New York-based energy retailer, where responsibilities encompassed developing renewable products and contract management, and significant roles at Con Edison, NYISO, Black & Veatch, Caterpillar Inc., and Motorola Solutions, covering areas such as energy trading, market compliance, and engineering.
