Ryan Kimber began their career in 1999 as a Technical Analyst with the Toronto Police Service. Ryan then joined Fidelity Investments in 2006 as a Senior Technical Architect and Consultant, where they supported and developed Fidelity's workflow management application, and lead the technical design and development of Fund2Fund. In 2008, Ryan joined Think Research as Chief Technology Officer, where they led application design and development as the organization grew from 5 to 60+ employees and from 60 to 300 hospital clients. From 2016 onwards, Ryan has been the CEO & Co-Founder of Daylight.
Ryan Kimber attended Lester B. Pearson High School in Burlington, ON from 1992 to 1997, where they earned their Ontario Secondary School Diploma. Ryan then attended The University of British Columbia from 1997 to 1999, studying Engineering. Ryan completed their studies at the University of Toronto from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a degree in Computer Science. Ryan also attended Communitech Business Fundamentals, though no degree or field of study was specified.
