Fisher Mark is a seasoned food and dining reporter, wine columnist, and blogger with extensive experience at the Dayton Daily News since 1983. Beginning as a higher education reporter at the Fremont News-Messenger, Mark transitioned to the Dayton Daily News where, over the years, responsibilities included education and metro reporting before specializing in food and dining in 2006. Notably, Mark has contributed the "Taste of Wine" column since 1989 and launched the wine blog "Uncorked" in 2005, becoming one of the first print journalists to do so. After a remarkable 40-year career in print journalism, Mark retired from Cox Enterprises Inc. on April 1, 2021. Education was completed at The Ohio State University from 1976 to 1981.
