Valerie Lemmie

Chair at Dayton History

Valerie Lemmie is currently the Chair at Dayton Valerie'story. Valerie has previously worked as a Senior Fellow at George Washington University - Center for Excellence in Municipal Management, where they conducted research and lectured on public administration and policy issues, including organizational change and leadership development. Valerie also served as the Director at the Eastern Interconnection States Planning Council (EISPC), where their responsibilities included promoting a collaborative environment among EISPC members and stakeholders to develop common understandings and consensus opinions on transmission and other resources planning criteria, communicating EISPC member consensus to planning authorities, regional transmission organizations and stakeholders, and managing EISPC’s day-to-day operations.

Valerie Lemmie has a Master of Arts from Washington University in St. Louis in Urban Affairs/Public Policy Planning, a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Missouri in Political Science/Urban Soc, and a Certificate in Development Financing from the National Development Council. Valerie also has a Senior Executive Program from Harvard University.
