Joe Gabbard

Joe Gabbard is a seasoned law enforcement professional with extensive experience in various roles within police departments. Currently serving as a Police Officer at Kettering Health Network since December 2020, Joe previously held significant positions at the City of Hamilton Police Department, including Commander and Patrol Lieutenant, overseeing a shift of 18-20 Officers and 2 Sergeants. Joe's career began in 1994 as a Patrol Officer at Hamilton City Police Department, with subsequent promotions to Detective in 2004 and Patrol Sergeant before transitioning to command roles. Joe also has experience as a Special Deputy with the Butler County Sheriff's Office, assisting in jail functions and prisoner transport, and served as a Corrections Officer. Joe has pursued specialized training, completing the Police Executive Leadership College and Front Line Supervisor Training, and holds a diploma from Talawanda High School and a law enforcement certificate from Butler Tech.
