Pedro Pinto

Pedro Pinto is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in sports communications and broadcasting. Currently serving as an Advisor for GDS Cascais - Futebol, SAD since December 2024, Pedro also founded and leads Empower Sports, a communications agency that specializes in branding for athletes and sports organizations. Additionally, Pedro presents UEFA Champions League programs for DAZN in Portugal and previously held prominent roles at UEFA as Managing Director of Communications and Chief of Communications and Media. With a background in broadcasting at CNN, including roles as a broadcaster and executive producer, Pedro has also hosted prestigious events such as the UEFA Champions League draw and the FIFA Ballon D'Or awards. Pedro's academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a technical degree in Broadcast Journalism from the Carolina School of Broadcasting.
