Joonas Jokela

Joonas Jokela has been working in the technology industry since 2009. Joonas started their career at Songhi Entertainment as Lead Programmer, where they were responsible for architecting front-end flash code and working with UI designers to create new interactions for creating music. In 2011, they joined Rovio Entertainment Ltd. as Project Manager and Web Developer. As Project Manager, they were responsible for managing stakeholder expectations, overall feature development, and connecting Rovio teams with the right people. As Web Developer, they prototyped new social services for Angry Birds mobile games and shipped actual code to real, released products. In 2013, they began consulting, working with 5 media & entertainment start-ups in Helsinki and San Francisco. Joonas was responsible for prototyping the first mobile product/service iteration and assisting in hiring technical teams or co-founders. In 2014, they became COO and Co-Founder of Dazzle Rocks, where they are creating the next generation of mobile games and storytelling.

Joonas Jokela attended Aalto University Executive Education Ltd in 2014, where they completed the Game Executive Program. Prior to that, they attended Hyper Island from 2010 to 2012. Joonas also holds a Certified Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance.
