Jeremy Throwe

Jeremy Throwe has over 30 years of work experience in the field of systems engineering and project management. Jeremy currently works as a Technical Director at DB Consulting Group, Inc. where they serve as the GOES-R Task Lead and Control Account Manager. In this role, they manage task scheduling, resource assignment, and task reporting for the GOES-R project. Jeremy also led the preparation for CLASS support of data from the GOES-R satellite launch. Prior to their current position, Jeremy worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at Science & Technology Corporation where they provided systems analysis for the Satellite Active Archive (SAA)/CLASS contract. Jeremy was responsible for the analysis of requirements and the inclusion of satellite data types into the CLASS archive. Before that, they worked as a Senior Systems Analyst at SMSRC where they led the design of an Evaluation and Testing (E&T) Subsystem for the NOAA KLM series of polar orbiting satellites. Jeremy'scareer began at the National Weather Service as a Meteorological Co-Op Student. Overall, Jeremy has a strong background in systems engineering and has made significant contributions to various projects in the field.

Jeremy Throwe attended the University of Maryland from 1980 to 1985, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering. After a short break, they returned to the University of Maryland from 1986 to 1988 to study Physical Sciences, earning another BS degree. Additionally, at some point in their education history, Jeremy Throwe also attended a place called Learning Tree, although specific dates and details are unavailable.
