Mandy Blumenauer has nearly 15 years of experience in the commercial interior design industry. Mandy Blumenauer currently works as Director of Interior Design at DBI Architects, Inc., focusing on designing and managing building and office spaces for government and institutional clients. Mandy Blumenauer is also a Project Manager for the World Bank, overseeing various projects and handling tasks such as space planning and construction documentation. Mandy has also been involved in coaching volleyball at various levels, serving as the head coach for the METRO 17's North team at the Metro Volleyball Club of Washington DC, as well as the head JV coach at Middletown High School and an assistant coach at Brunswick High School. Prior to their current roles, they worked as an interior designer at Rhosymedre Design Group, gaining experience in high-end residential projects.
Mandy Blumenauer IIDA, LEED AP, ASID has a strong educational background in interior design. Mandy Blumenauer obtained a high school diploma from Middletown High School in 2002. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design at Philadelphia University from 2002 to 2006. During their undergraduate studies, Mandy also attended American InterContinental University from 2004 to 2005 to further enrich their knowledge in interior design. As for certifications, they became a LEED Accredited Professional in May 2009 through the USGBC - National Capital Region Chapter. More recently, in October 2017, Mandy earned the NCIDQ certification from NCIDQ, further enhancing their qualifications in the field.
