Maria Trinidad Ugarte

Spanish Instruction Specialist at DC Bilingual Public Charter School

Maria Trinidad Ugarte is an experienced educator and specialist in language instruction, currently serving as a Spanish Instruction Specialist at DC Bilingual Public Charter School since June 2016. Ugarte has a diverse professional background, including roles as a member of the Family Engagement Team at Flamboyan Foundation from June 2017 to June 2018, an ESL Tutor at George Watts Elementary School in 2015, and a Content Specialist with RINCÓN DIDÁCTICO from 2011 to 2012. Additionally, Ugarte taught Spanish to middle and high school students at Colegio Huelén from 2008 to 2011. Ugarte holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Duke University and dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Education and Journalism from Universidad Gabriela Mistral and Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, respectively.
