Morgan Carey has a diverse range of work experience, with a focus on human resources and talent management. They are currently working as a Certified Life Coach, helping clients develop their personal assets and resilience. Prior to this role, Morgan served as the Director of Human Resources, Talent & Diversity at DC Bilingual Public Charter School, where they oversaw HR operations and diversity initiatives. They also worked as a Human Resources Manager at the same school. Before joining the education sector, Morgan gained experience as an HR Specialist at Busboys and Poets and as a Recruiter/HR Representative at Interspan Resources. Additionally, they served as a Mortgage Loan Processor at SunTrust Mortgage and as a Human Resources Specialist in the US Army. Morgan's early career included a role as a Documents Supervisor at SunTrust Mortgage.

Morgan Carey, MSHRM, SHRM-CP has a Master's degree in Human Resources Management and Services from Strayer University (VA), which was obtained from 2010 to 2013. Morgan also holds a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies and English from Longwood University, completed from 2001 to 2005.
