Thomas Hawkins

Thomas Hawkins has extensive experience in the journalism field, currently serving as Assistant Editor and Head of Production at DC Thomson's Sunday Post since May 2018. Thomas also holds the position of Assistant Editor at Herald & Times Group since May 2016 and has been with the same group as Chief Production Journalist since February 2013. Previous roles include iPad Editor at Belfast Telegraph from April 2011 to February 2013, Senior Production Journalist and Sub-Editor at Herald and Times Group from March 2008 to February 2011, and Sports Sub-Editor at The Irish News from September 2002 to February 2008. Thomas earned a degree in Newspaper Journalism from The University of Glasgow between 1998 and 2001, and further education was completed at Belfast Institute FHE from 2002 to 2003.
