Mark Mandzik has over 15 years of experience in the energy industry. Mark began their career in 2006 as Managing Director at Manitoba Hydro International, where they were responsible for the strategic direction and overall operations of the International Utility Services. Mark also held roles as Project Director and Director of Management Services. In 2011, they began working for various international clients, including the Energy Water and Sanitation Authority (EWSA), La Societe Nationale d'Electricite S.A.R.L (SNEL), Hidroelectrica de Cahora Bassa (HCB), the Ministry of Mineral Resources and Energy (MMRE), Electricidade de Timor-Leste, and the Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC). In these roles, they were responsible for proposal preparation, contract negotiation and administration, and project management/administration. In 2015, they founded and became Managing Director of Soft White 60 Corporation, where they were responsible for the operations, growth, and sustainability of a new, client-focused international energy services organization. In 2018, they became Co-Founder and CTO of SolarSkyrise Inc., and in 2021, they assumed the role of SHIP Sales Management (product installation network) Lead at dcbel.

Mark Mandzik obtained their CPA, CMA from the Society of Management Accountants of Manitoba between 1992 and 1995. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Manitoba between 1988 and 1992.
