Kyle Barrett, C.S.I

Kyle Barrett has over 18 years of experience in the video production industry. Kyle is currently the Director of Video Production at DCE Productions, where they provide leadership and direction to the video production and post-production teams. Their responsibilities include developing strategies for video production, editing, and motion graphics for use in events and marketing efforts.

Prior to their current role, Kyle worked at Barrett Visuals as an Editor, Colorist, and DIT. Kyle also worked at Ashley HomeStore Retail Headquarters as a Senior Producer, Post-Production Supervisor, Editor, DP, and Colorist. At Ashley, they oversaw all post-production efforts and was involved in shooting and editing various projects.

Before that, Kyle was a Co-Founder and Director at Oxen Made, a production company focused on creating branded content. Kyle also worked as a Creative Director at Freeman Company, leading the development and implementation of creative concepts for clients.

Kyle's experience also includes working as a Senior Editor, DP, and Colorist at Remedy Television, where they primarily worked on branded content for clients such as Tampa Bay Lightning and Disney. Kyle also worked at SPARK as a Senior Editor, DP, and Colorist, creating commercials and web videos for clients like Visit Florida and Bayfront Medical Center.

In the early years of their career, Kyle worked as a Video Editor at AVI-SPL, editing various types of content for clients such as Ernst & Young and Bank of America.

Kyle Barrett attended Hillsborough Community College from 2003 to 2004, where they studied Mass Communication. During their time at the college, they did not obtain a degree. In 2009, Kyle obtained a certification in Final Cut Pro Level 1 from Apple Inc.
