Dana Murphy

Dana Murphy, MSN, RN, CENP, has over 25 years of nursing experience, currently serving as the Director of Nursing at DCH Health System since May 1998. In this role, Dana manages both the Inpatient and Outpatient Postanesthesia Care Units, as well as the Preoperative Holding Unit. Prior to this, Dana worked as a Clinical Coordinator and Registered Nurse in the Cardiology Cath Lab. During employment at UAB Hospital from May 1992 to May 1998, Dana held the positions of Staff Registered Nurse and CV Service Line Educator. Dana earned a Master of Science in Nursing Administration from the University of South Alabama in 2018 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Alabama in 1992.
