Chris Cowan

Chris Cowan, MBA, CTBS has over 20 years of experience in various roles within the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. Chris is currently serving as the Sr. Director of Marketing & Product Development at DCI Donor Services, Inc., where they oversee strategic partnerships and the delivery of allografts. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Sales at Swiftwick, where they managed independent sales reps and led the product development team. In addition, Chris has held roles such as Senior Product Manager at Healthways, Product Manager at HealthStream, and Product Manager at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama. Chris also has experience in business development as the Director of Business Development at The Assessment Group and as a self-employed Product Management Consultant. Chris' early career includes roles as a Product Manager at Aptalis Pharmaceutical Technologies and various positions at Novo Nordisk, including Product Manager and Sales Representative. Throughout their career, Chris has demonstrated expertise in marketing, product management, and developing strategic partnerships in the healthcare industry.

Chris Cowan holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration from the University of North Alabama, earned between 1997 and 1999. Prior to that, Chris obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biology from the same institution, completing studies from 1992 to 1997. In addition to their academic achievements, Chris holds a certification as a Certified Tissue Banking Specialist from the American Association of Tissue Banks, obtained in October 2020. Chris also possesses a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
