Ivan Cazares, CPA

Ivan Cazares, CPA, has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Ivan began their career at Breakwater Security Associates in 2003, serving as a Lead Accountant and Interim Manager. In this role, they maintained accounts receivable and payable systems, performed administrative duties, and supervised new staff. After their time at Breakwater Security Associates, Ivan joined Brookdale/Emeritus Senior Living in 2005. Ivan held different positions within the company, including Community Staff Accountant, Senior Community Accountant, Corporate Accountant, Senior Corporate Accountant, and Senior Real Estate Accountant. In these roles, Ivan's responsibilities included analyzing financial statements, preparing reports, collaborating with auditors, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. In 2015, Ivan joined Puget Sound Energy as a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst. Ivan later took on the role of Manager, Financial Reporting. At Puget Sound Energy, Ivan was responsible for the preparation and review of financial statements, as well as compliance with regulations and internal controls. Ivan's most recent position is as a Controller at DCI Engineers, starting in 2018. As the Controller, Ivan oversees financial management and ensures compliance with accounting standards in the company.

Ivan Cazares, CPA received their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting/Finance from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business. Ivan attended the school from 2000 to 2003. In August 2014, Ivan obtained their certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the Board of Accountancy Washington State.
