Matt Schmidt's work experience includes serving as the Vice President/Principal Engineer at DCI Engineers since June 2017. Prior to that, they held the role of Treasurer at the Missoula Area Youth Hockey Association from January 2013 to October 2017. Matt also worked at Beaudette Consulting Engineers, Inc. for 18 years, starting as a project and managing engineer in 1999 and eventually becoming Chief Operating Officer. Additionally, they were a Partner at Enginuity Structural Consultants from November 1996 to April 1999, and a Project Engineer at Stuart Engineering, Inc. from January 1994 to October 1996.
Matt Schmidt, SE, PE, PEng received their Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BS Civil Engineering) degrees from the University of Colorado Boulder. Matt studied at the university from 1989 to 1993 and focused their field of study on Structural Engineering. Matt also holds additional certifications as a Structural Engineer, although the details of where and when they obtained these certifications are not provided.
