Justin Peterson is Managing Partner of DCI Group, one of Washington’s most respected communications and public affairs firms. Mr. Peterson’s career in the political and public policy arena spans more than twenty five years, and he has helped to grow DCI Group into one of the largest independently owned firms of its kind in the United States. Justin works closely with opinion leaders and leading academia to frame challenging issues, and designs and leads advocacy campaigns for DCI’s roster of clients. Justin currently serves as a Member of the Financial Oversight and Management Board for Puerto Rico, a position to which he was appointed by President Trump in 2020.

Over the last decade, Justin has built DCI’s financial services practice into one of the most effective specialists in investor and creditor representation in the United States. Justin has created numerous investor advocacy organizations, and has served as the communications and public affairs advisor to a number of creditor committees in some of the most high-profile bankruptcies and sovereign debt disputes in recent history, including Puerto Rico, General Motors and Argentina. A key focus of Justin’s advisory practice has been to bridge collaboration between large and small investors who have, in recent years, found common ground in advocating for the rule of law governing investor and creditor rights.
