Sami Ahmad has a diverse work experience starting from 2008. Sami began their career as an Equities Research Intern at Goldman Sachs in 2008. Sami then worked as an Equities Sales Intern at Merrill Lynch in 2009. From 2011 to 2015, Sami served as a Senior Financial Analyst at Faruqi & Faruqi, LLP. In 2011, they also volunteered as a Project Associate at Justice Rapid Response. Sami joined The George Washington University - School of Business as a Research Assistant in 2016 and simultaneously interned at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as a Honors Intern. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as an Attorney at Finkelstein, Blankinship, Frei-Pearson & Garber, LLP. Following that, Sami served as an Attorney at Wolf Popper LLP from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of General Counsel at dClimate and also serves as the General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer at Arbol Solutions LLC, both starting in 2022.
Sami Ahmad has an education history that includes a Doctor of Law degree from The George Washington University Law School with a concentration in Business & Securities Law. Sami also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University, where they majored in Economics & History. In addition to their degrees, Sami has obtained a Certificate in Financial Analysis from NYU School of Professional Studies.
