Harjeet Chopra

Harjeet Chopra is a seasoned financial services professional with extensive experience in risk management across various leadership roles. Currently serving as an Independent Director and Board Member at DCM SHRIRAM INDUSTRIES LTD since April 2024, Harjeet also holds the position of Senior Advisor at Boston Consulting Group, focusing on financial services and banking. Previously, Harjeet held multiple senior positions at Citi, including Managing Director and Chief Risk Officer for Singapore, India, and Turkey, as well as Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer for Italy. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Vice President and Credit Risk Head for ABN AMRO Bank in India and the Middle East, and Deputy Credit Risk Head at Bank of America in India. Harjeet began a career in banking as a Manager at Citibank India and started in finance as a Financial Analyst at American Express. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Finance from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a B.Com (H) in Accounting and Finance from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University.
