Adell Coleman has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Adell started their career at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden as a Gallery Attendant in 2007. Adell then worked as a Public Speaking Tour Guide at Penn State University from 2006 to 2009. Adell continued to explore their passion for radio by becoming a Production Advisor at WPFW from 2009 to 2010. Adell also served as a Radio Production Tutor at Y.E.S. Hart Middle School from 2010 to 2011.
In 2016, Adell joined Sirius XM Radio Inc. where they held multiple roles over the course of their tenure. Adell started as a Producer of Talk Programming from 2010 to 2013, where they handled various tasks including content scheduling, guest booking, and scriptwriting. Adell then became a Senior Producer from 2013 to 2016 and eventually rose to the position of Executive Producer of Channel Programming from 2016 to 2017. In this role, Adell managed daily operations, supervised shows, and developed strategies for effective programming. Adell also oversaw social media strategies and trained new team members.
Adell's radio career continued at WERA 96.7 FM, where they worked as a Radio Show Host from 2016 to 2018. Adell showcased their skills in hosting and delivering engaging content during this time.
In 2018, Adell joined DCP Entertainment as the Chief Content Officer and Podcast Host/EP of "Say Their Name," a podcast dedicated to shedding light on the stories of individuals impacted by gun violence at the hands of the police. Adell led the production and content creation of the podcast, highlighting the personal experiences of victims' families and the broader community impact.
Recently, in 2022, Adell took on the role of Chief Operating Officer at DCP Entertainment, where they contribute to the overall management and operations of the company alongside their content-related responsibilities.
Adell Coleman attended Penn State University from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies.
