Daniel Gillies

Chief Innovation Officer

Daniel Gillies is an experienced aerospace engineer focused on building the future of space systems. They hold a Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University and a Master's of Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Daniel has worked on various commercial, civil, and DoD space missions, serving in roles such as Senior Space Technology Policy Analyst at BryceTech and Mission Director for Astrobotic's first Griffin mission. Additionally, they have broadened their expertise through a post-baccalaureate degree in Fisheries & Wildlife Sciences from Oregon State University, engaging in research in ecology, avian conservation, and marine science. Currently, Daniel serves as the Chief Innovation Officer at Dcubed and as the Owner of Zorro Azul Technologies, providing consulting in aerospace and technology.
