Anne-Claire Hiemstra

Anne-Claire Hiemstra, PhD, serves as Directeur and Klinisch Neuropsycholoog at Levvel since July 2020 and has been a Klinisch Neuropsycholoog at de Bascule in Amsterdam since April 2008, specializing in neuropsychological diagnostics and treatment for children and adolescents with complex learning disorders and suspected psychiatric issues. Hiemstra has held various roles, including Co-promotor for the Beter bij de Les research initiative and Manager Behandelzaken Cluster Buiten Amsterdam. Additionally, Hiemstra has experience as a docent at RINO Noord-Holland, focusing on Child Neuropsychology and learning disorders, and has worked in private practice and various clinical settings, notably UMC Utrecht and Karakter kinder- en jeugdpsychiatrie. Academic qualifications include a doctoral research focus on early identification of externalizing disorders, with education from Maastricht University.
