Ben Peters

Ben Peters serves as the Head of Compliance at De Beers Group since October 2025, having previously held significant roles at Anglo American from March 2013 to October 2025, including Legal Manager for Corporate Regulatory & Compliance and Group Lead for Competition Law/Compliance. Prior experience includes a position as Senior Counsel for Competition & Compliance at De Beers from February 2005 to March 2013, and earlier roles at Addleshaw Goddard and SJ Berwin, where Ben Peters developed expertise in EU and Competition Law. Educational credentials include a Postgraduate Diploma in EC Competition Law from King's College London and an LLB in European Legal Studies from the University of Bristol. Additional leadership training was completed at London Business School.
