Jozanga S. Fernandes

Jozanga S. Fernandes is an accomplished geologist with extensive experience in the mining and engineering sectors. Currently a Field Geologist with De Beers Group, Fernandes is responsible for core drilling operations and data management. As a Chevening Scholar and Alumni, Fernandes has access to a prestigious network while pursuing further academic excellence. Previous roles include Exploration Geologist at Somiluana - Sociedade Mineira, S.A., Field Engineer Trainee at SLB, and various photography positions demonstrating versatility in both technical and creative fields. Fernandes holds an MSc in Geotechnical Engineering and an MSci in Geology from the University of Birmingham, complemented by a Science Foundation Course from St. Andrew's College, Cambridge.
