Matthew Ives

Matthew Ives currently serves as SVP Chief Commercial Officer at De Beers Group in London, a position held since November 2022. Prior to this role, Matthew held the position of Retail Director at Cartier from September 2019 to November 2022 and was Retail Director for Northern & Southern Europe at Van Cleef & Arpels from September 2016 to September 2019. Earlier experience includes serving as Chief of Staff in the CEO office at Richemont from June 2011 to September 2016 and as a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company from April 2009 to June 2011. Matthew began his career in marketing and sales at L'Oreal from July 2008 to February 2009. Educational qualifications include an MPhil in Management and an MA (Cantab) in Natural Sciences, both from the University of Cambridge.
