Peta Gabriel

Peta Gabriel is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in external communications and strategic advisory roles. Currently serving as the External Communications Lead at De Beers Group since April 2017, Peta is responsible for media and communication strategies that uphold the company's reputation and ensure consistent messaging across various platforms. Prior to this role, Peta worked at Phillips Group from June 2006 to December 2016 as a Manager, overseeing client engagements and team performance. Additionally, Peta held the position of Senior Consultant at LapePhelan Marketing Communications in 2005-2006, and has formal education including a Bachelor of Business in Public Relations from Queensland University of Technology and a Certificate in Public Participation from the International Association for Public Participation.
