Yuri Wort

Yuri Wort is an accomplished HR professional with extensive experience in human resources management and transformation. Currently serving as the Head of People Partnering at De Beers Group since March 2022, Yuri has held various significant roles including Human Resources Transformation Manager and Human Resources Transition Manager. Previously, experience includes serving as Project Manager in HR at BMW Group South Africa and Group Human Resources Manager at Legacy Motor Group. At BMW Group, Yuri held multiple specialist positions focusing on HR governance, compensation, benefits, and strategic workforce planning. Yuri's academic background includes a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Communication Management and a Bachelor of Commerce in Communication Management, both obtained from the University of Pretoria, along with a matric certificate from Clapham High School.
