Lynn Berger is a seasoned Care Correspondent at De Correspondent, a role held since July 2013. Berger completed a PhD in Communications at Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism from 2009 to 2015, focusing on a dissertation about photography and the law in 19th century United States under the guidance of Professor Michael Schudson. Previous experience includes positions as a Freelance Writer for De Groene Amsterdammer, a Contributing Editor for NRC Handelsblad, and a Freelance Writer for de Volkskrant. Additional roles encompass being a Researcher for NOVA at NPS, a Strategic Initiatives Associate at Columbia Journalism Review, and a Curatorial Intern at MoMA's Department of Photography. Berger's academic background includes a Master of Arts in American Studies from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from Maastricht University.
