In 2012, they worked as a Portfolio Manager, Solution Manager, and Transition Manager at Atos.
From 2012 to 2014, they were a Strategic Workplace Consultant, Project Manager, and Configuration Manager at COFELY FABRICOM - GDF SUEZ GROUP.
In 2014, they joined Infrabel as a Senior IT Project Manager, focusing on software rationalization.
In 2015, Gert worked as a Senior IT Project Manager at COFELY FABRICOM - GDF SUEZ GROUP for a short period.
Later in 2015, they became a Senior Project Manager at ENGIE, managing large workplace migration projects.
From 2017 to 2018, they worked as the Main Project Manager at ENGIE IT for a challenging workplace migration project.
Gert then moved to Argenta in 2018, serving as a Workplace Outsourcing Service Consultant and Project Lead until 2019.
From 2019, they joined Fietsersbond vzw as the Chairman of Fietsersbond Antwerpen, volunteering to improve the cycling environment in Antwerp.

Gert De Vuyst has a diverse education history. In 1990-1991, they attended KTA Aalst and obtained a B1 degree in Electronics. Following that, from 1998 to 2006, Gert pursued Microsoft Certification and obtained MCTS and MCP degrees in Belgium. In 2010, they acquired ITIL v3 Foundation certification from OAK3 Training Centre. Additionally, in 2011, Gert attended OAK3 Training Centre again and obtained a Prince2 Foundation degree in Prince2 Foundation.
