Brian then became the Biodiesel Plant Manager at Renewable Energy Group, Inc. in 2016.

Brian is a highly skilled manager with a proven track record of successful plant operations. Brian is an expert in staff training and development, fiscal performance, management of capital and operational budgets, and oversight of safety, compliance, and environmental programs.

Brian Coker received their MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, with a focus in strategy, organization, entrepreneurship, and not-for-profits. Brian also holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in computer science with a minor in linguistics. Brian Coker began their collegiate career at the United States Air Force Academy but transferred after a year and a half to pursue a degree in political science and history with a focus on Arabic studies. Brian also holds a HS diploma from Marian Catholic HS and certifications from Exin in ITIL v3 Foundations Certification and from the Chicago Deming Association in Six Sigma Green Belt.
