Matthew Stone

Matthew Stone is an accomplished civil engineer with extensive experience in the engineering sector. Currently serving as the Lead Civil Engineer at De Grey Mining Ltd since September 2024, Matthew has previously held senior positions at Clough and Hatch between 2021 and 2024. Matthew began a significant career in civil engineering at Knight Piesold from 2008 to 2018, where roles included Civil Project Engineer and Civil Design Engineer. Prior military service included tenure with the Royal Marines from 1997 to 2003. Matthew Stone holds a Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management from Alliance Manchester Business School and a Master of Engineering in Civil & Structural from The University of Manchester. Additionally, Matthew is pursuing a Master of Building Information Modelling at The University of Western Australia.
