Simone Berghuys

Simone Berghuys is an experienced picture editor with a career spanning several notable organizations. Since January 2003, Simone has served as a picture editor at De Groene Amsterdammer. In addition, Simone has been freelancing since January 2008, working for clients such as Crimelink and Kids United under Unicef, among other magazines. Simone participated as a jury member for the first European Press Prize Cartoon Award in 2020. Previous contributions include roles as a picture editor at VPRO (1999-2006), Metro (2000-2002), FEM and FEM Business (1996-2002), and Het Parool (1996-1999), as well as program and item making for Bellissima (1995-1997).
